Features of the Christian Growth Study Plan
- The focus is on preparing Christians to serve the Lord (Ephesians 4:12-13).
- Two categories of diploma plans are available:
- Leadership and Skill Development
- Christian Growth
- One diploma certificate is used in recognizing participants when they complete diploma plans.
- The Leadership and Skill Development category diploma plans are designed by course requirements that provide a development curriculum for leaders.
- The Christian Growth category diploma plans can be customized according to individual needs and interests. These diploma plans can provide a "curriculum map" for discipling believers.
- When a participant requests credit for a course, he or she is automatically enrolled in a diploma plan.
- Revised course credit request forms provide easy-to-use formats. With the intent to assist the CGSP church coordinators, the Form 725 provides space for identifying course titles.
- The CGSP Website provides an easy-to-use way for persons who have Internet access to get individual transcripts, church member lists, and other types of reports for associations and state conventions. Persons who do not have access to the Internet, may request reports at any time.
- A course credit requires a minimum of 2.5 hours in group or individual study time. A diploma requires a minimum of 10 hours in group or individual study time.
